Lupe Sino, invece, è una donna bellissima, schietta, orgogliosa, sensibile e con un passato turbolento alle spalle. Prima che si innamorasse di lei, il torero aveva un solo obbiettivo: diventare famoso. Grazie a Lupe, Manolete sembra aver trovato un nuovo scopo nella vita, ma un'ombra incombe sui due amanti. Manolete è innamorato della morte mentre Lupe è innamorata della vita. Lupe insegna al matador ad amare la vita e, allo stesso tempo, a temere la morte.
